I’m Megan, a multi-disciplinary creative designer based just outside of London.
I studied Graphic Design: Visual Communications at the University of the Creative Arts, achieving a First Class honours degree. Since then I've worked in four incredible design agencies, J2, White Leopard, Cygnus and Headlines. To them, for the experiences, knowledge and relationships, I owe a lot.
Here I'd be expected to outline my design style, but I don't have a singular approach. Instead of limiting myself in this way, I'd rather take a brief and whichever design techniques I feel suit it best; I use.
I like to experiment, discover and intrigue. It may take a while to make it work, but once it does it's wonderful and in my eyes that's time well spent. I suppose my more consistent quality is the fact that I am a fully confessed perfectionist. I won't allow a project to be finished until it is absolutely perfect (and I will stop at nothing until it's there). Why create something without giving it your absolute all? I believe with enough passion, patience and dedication anything is possible.

I joined Headlines as a Senior Designer, but after 4 months I was promoted to Lead Designer. This requires additional responsibilities such as: managing the design team, making sure projects are hitting deadlines and critiquing work to ensure a very high level of quality throughout the studio. I’m involved with major projects, production processes, pitching and also have a say in which direction the business takes. Having more responsibility and control over the design part of the company whilst still producing creative work was a new challenge for me, but one which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

Throughout my career I’ve been involved in various freelance projects, working with companies such as Private Chef Direct and Wright Tiles, as well as clients including Jessica Vince at Grazia magazine. I have also completed briefs for magazine start-up projects, musician artworks and have even been involved with design work in places as far as Tanzania, Africa.
