I worked at an events production company where I provided administrative support to a small team. Here I would source products and vendors for the various events. I also maintained both the social media and website for the company. I acted as a production assist and on events for clients including Paul Smith, Adidas and Chloe. Here I was involved in the set up and pack down of events as well as working as a runner during events.
Here I was in charge of ensuring that all artists and performers arrived at the festival and were taken care of throughout their time on site. I would ensure that each artist received a welcome pack and were escorted to their correct backstage area. I would also arrange for all kit to be taken to the correct place on site.
Here I worked as part of the PR team for Exposure Fashion, working on clients including Converse, Uniqlo, Liam Hodges and Bumble. My day to day tasks included: - Booking samples in and out, organising call ins and call backs and booking both domestic and international couriers. - Editing and syndicating press releases - Selling in new product launches - Building and maintaining relationships with both press and clients - Organising sample request and assisting with the day to day running of the press office. - Assisting on large scale events including LFWM, The Bumble Hive and the Converse One Star Hotel.
I worked as a part of a small events team whilst at University to organise a graduate fashion show. My role involved booking and liaising with models, talent and suppliers as well as running the backstage area during the event. I also assisted with set design, PR & marketing, and hospitality.
I worked as a Student Ambassador and the Student Representative for my course. The role involved attending open days to talk to potential students about the university and show them around the facilities I also attended bi-monthly and SSLG meetings with staff, where I collected opinions from peers, and relayed this by writing detailed reports and presented feedback to senior staff.
