I have recently graduated from the Royal College of Art, studying an MA in Textile Design. My background in fine art led me to explore the convergence of fine and applied art. 6 months as a studio assistant for designer Neisha Crosland inspired me to focus on textile design. At the RCA I have been using fabric screen printing alongside drawing and painting to illustrate the material culture surrounding ritual. I explore breaking disciplinary boundaries to create holistic pieces of artwork that are immersive, focusing on polarities such as ancient versus modern, and organic versus electronic. The multi disciplinary nature of my work means that I am open to many opportunities and makes me very adaptable.
