About me
Based in Hertfordshire, Megan Wilson is an illustrator focused on book covers, children’s illustration and character design. In response to her having always had a huge interest in fiction books, Megan began developing her skill in illustration from a young age in 2012. She has become flexible in a variety of mediums in traditional and can comfortably work digitally too whilst always hitting deadlines. Since completing her degree, Megan has been currently working towards being commissioned to create book covers for clients such as Penguin and is creating a children’s book in her free time with the aim of getting it published, all whilst freelancing. Previous competitions include achieving second place in Royston Arts Young Artist’s Award 2018, Macmillan 2019, Penguin Cover Student Design Award 2020, and she is currently working towards entering Macmillan 2020. Her work has appeared in the Covent Garden Poetry Society cafe exhibition three years running from 2018-2020. Get in touch with Megan via meganwilsonillustration@hotmail.com.
