About me
I love live events, brands and culture so helping businesses in the events & entertainment industries is the perfect job for me. In 2016, I studied with Digital Mums on their Social Media Marketing: Associate Programme – adding some super ninja, strategic social media skills to my existing marketing skillset. In 2020, I invested in my personal development again with Emma Van Heusen’s Facebook ADcelerator course & now I also offer highly effective, strategic Facebook, and Instagram Advertising. Previously, I worked in experiential & PR agencies (including Cunning Stunts, RPM, JCPR, H&K and Unity), with household brands for over 15 years and loved agency life – the pitching, the late nights and parties. But then I got pregnant with my first son and the fast paced agency life lost its appeal. I approached a long time supplier and friend at Continental Drifts and offered to help them with their marketing and business development, which resulted in new client wins including PR firm Taylor Herring. It was at Drifts, while project managing and launching their new website, that I realised I needed to sort out my own digital and social media marketing skills. A friend in Walthamstow had done the pilot of Digital Mums Strategic Social Media course and recommended it to me – what a game changer! I developed a burning passion for digital marketing and realized, I could have flexible work to fit around my family but still something that I was passionate about. I secured my first social media/business development client in 2017 with Scene2 who design and build immersive events for brands. In the first year, I increased turnover by 50%. I knew I had a winning formula of strategically using social media plus business development tactics to land new clients and my agency was born.
