Superb tutor!" - Matt Calladine | Land + Development Director | Barratt Developments PLC "Course was delivered exceptionally and sympathetically. Everybody was listened to and given the chance to give their input / personal opinions" - Stephen Conway | Document Controller | JRL Group At least 1 in 4 of us suffers from a mental health issue every year in the UK at a cost of £1,300 per employee + 99 million sick days taken annually. Unsupported mental health costs the UK economy £36 billion a year yet only 20% of companies are investing in training to support a happier, more productive workplace. We often hear 'there were no signs' in relation to common issues like depression (and suicide). This is rarely the case once we learn the signs + symptoms, how to start these conversations, truly listen and refer someone to professionals. This speeds recovery, increasing positive morale, staff retention, effective communication, teamwork and output. It also saves lives. To quote a legal partner: "If I'd done this course 2 years ago, my niece might still be here".
