Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) Fashion DesignThe University of Leeds
- Leeds, United Kingdom
I graduated from a four year course, which included an industrial placement year in which is worked in both London and Copenhagen. The academic nature of my design degree developed my written and verbal communication skills, and my ability to conduct academic research. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at University, and particularly excelled in my final year when exploring the impact of globalisation on the creative industries. I developed a new awareness of sustainability, transparency and accountability in transnational supply chains, which subsequently formed the basis of my dissertation. These have remained key concerns that I want to develop in practical ways in my career.
