About me
On a solo trip to Florence I learn that tapping the edge of your hand on the antecubital space is rude, that making your pitch higher at the end of your sentence in most European culture indicates a question, and that in South Africa, kissing your parents on the mouth is a sign of respect. Growing up in various countries, amongst multiple cultures meant that I learnt that language was not restricted to verbal cues, and could be expressed through body language, gestures, tone and empathy.
I want a career in the communications field. I am utterly fascinated with the mechanics of it as it has been such a prominent part of my life. I was born and raised in South Africa, the U.S. and Switzerland and have recently attained a B.A. (Hons) in Creative Advertising from Falmouth University, UK. I have a passion to learn and a keen interest in sustainability, design, behavioural psychology and languages. And once the ball starts rolling, I will utilise my creative skills, good work ethic and apply my ambition to help promote businesses and ideas.

- Digital McKinsey/D&AD New BloodThis project is dedicated to the Philippines; a country where 86% of households are unbanked. An international family card allows an international Filipino worker to transfer money from an app to a spending card, which their family in the Philippines has. The card only uses an online exchange rate, so it essentially cuts out the middleman. This means more essential funds can reach families in the Philippines.
