About me
Merve is a Smart Fashion Innovation Designer who develops garments as well as smart technologies which can be integrated to garments. She had Master’s in Domus Academy in Fashion Design and BA in Textile Engineering in Istanbul Technical University. She worked at Mavi as an engineer. During her studies in DA, she had collaborated with MM6 by Maison Margiela, Diesel, Reebok and Slamjam. In addition, she worked with designer Rick Rhe. Merve selected for Fashion Graduate Italia 2019 edition and presented Domus Academy. Her collection was the first self-designed and made smart-textile collection which showcased in Milan. She collaborated with KUFNER for her heating smart garment and she individually developed the luminous garments. The collection recieved an Honorable Mention from LICC 2019 and selected amongst the 100 Most Creative Design Projects. Further, her upgraded tech-collection was selected as finalist for Worth Partnership. She recently supported ALMA, selected by ReFream and STARTS, as a designer for their bio-smart lingerie project, Merve continues to support smart textile projects and conventional brands as a smart-fashion innovation designer in both developing designs and technologies...
