Merve Sarikaya was born and grew up Istanbul. The diversity of architectural styles in Istanbul has led Merve to study architecture in multiple renowned universities in Turkey and Italy. Upon completing her studies, inspired by her travels abroad, Merve has established a career based both at home and abroad. She has worked with esteemed architects, creative designers and established artist while being involved in award-winning projects. She has gained the opportunity to create fusions of various cultures that manifest in her work.
Her experiences in hospitality and design projects led her to find Pavé Studio, which has become to be known for their comprehensive and highly creative approach to interior design coupled with an outstanding line of brand and experience design. Merve believes that the true value of a spatial project is revealed when it is experienced with a holistic approach; namely, an approach that includes every facet of the design of spaces and places, whether it is branding, lighting, furniture, interior design, or architecture.
Merve is passionate about bringing creative and talented eyes together and has a keen eye on contemporary art, new age materials and cutting edge design paradigms. In her work, she is always pushing for the extra mile, seeking new ways to integrate art & new materials through collective talent.
