Mia Abelson has been expressing herself as a full time artist since the age of twenty. Her work displays a love for life, nature, and for communicating emotion visually. In the early 90s, Mia began to experiment with oil painting that is, working directly from the subject, on location. She embarked upon a study of working from life, in the landscape, throughout all seasons, striving for honesty and clarity in his style.
As an artist, doing art gives her life a great purpose without any description, just like a simple and grand love. This is a passion that exerts from Mia's simple being and when I am at this space I just flow like clear stream. She continues to explore her world through painting, whether it be landscape, animals, birds or figures. He now divides his time between working on location and in the studio where she develops more complex paintings.
