About me
I am a highly passionate and enthusiastic Editor who over the past five years has taken every opportunity to study and produce films. I have produced many independent projects mainly factual, as I am intrigued by the world around us. My short film "Today" has been nominated for five film festivals including "BFI Soul film festival".
As a freelancer, I have also produced corporate, fashion, and music-related content for clients, and am always excited to learn something new. In August 2017 I completed my Editing Apprenticeship which consisted of making album trailers, Youtube videos, and lyric videos for clients such as rock band "Queen".
My courses, training, and experience have provided valuable knowledge in creative & technical filmmaking. This includes camera operation skills (DSLR cameras & lenses,), technical software (Final Cut Pro X, Photoshop), and compiling productions from the idea to the last click of the mouse in the edit.

As an editor for "The Best You" I create promotional videos for events and upload them to both Vimeo and Youtube. Editing Multicam interviews and talks are the main parts of my role. I am also responsible for editing 1-minute videos for social media including Instagram and Facebook. A daily task in my job is managing our Youtube channel and uploading content for our audience weekly.

Camera Assistant - FilmThe loft productions

The role as a runner/ camera assistant on the phycological thriller "The loft" allowed me to gain an insight into the horror genre, and what they involve.
The role involved me helping to move, and set up equipment, I set up props, lighting and ran errands for cast and crew. I also helped to get involved in any small things that needed to be achieved. Furthermore, I also helped to set up the camera, change lenses and set up tripods.
This was a great experience that allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge of being on set.
