- Native SonsExperimenting in portraiture using pencil for Native American Chief Sitting Bull and Indian ink for the Aboriginal Elder. Indigenous heroes and culture are often forgotten and I attempted to translate a sense of stoic solidarity in these portraits, hopefully reflecting the figures respective beauty and strength.
- The Human ConditionA Collage Tryptych where I wanted to convey the at times simulated/feigned emotion we express via comments or posts on social media where it often unintentionally lacks sincerity, the attachment to following/buying current trends and the mental overload we sometimes experience via social media.
- Graphic novel/ Comic studyA personal project playing with working within panel/ rectangle shapes, experimenting with vibrant colour and hard lines. Ive always been a fan of the sharp, striking images in comic books, these images images in particular are inspired by Image comics, Youngblood series. ( Mixed media, Biro and fineliner pens)
