I work for one of Britain's most celebrated photographers, Miles Aldridge, as his photo assistant and studio assistant. My roles include archiving his extensive portfolio of work, assisting on photoshoots both on set and for any in-house shoots which includes product photography. On occasion the job responsiblities include quality assessment of Miles' art prints before shipping to his many clients around the world. I have had the opportunity to improve my retouching skills through frequent visits to Upper Studios where my job role extends to scanning commercial and art negatives using X5 and Drum Scanners. This opportunity has allowed me to improve on my understanding of colour, professional retouching workflow, and the methodology for creating high end advertising work.
