About me

BACKGROUND I have 20 years experience in UI design, motion graphics and video. I have worked at companies such as Sony and Microsoft before setting up my own production company called Meshes in 2014. Since 2019 I have been freelancing in UI design, motion graphics, and video content production. UI/UX DESIGNER I started out as a UI Designer in 1999, working on concepts for BT and the BBC. Later I worked on two BAFTA award winning videogames for Warner Brothers. More recently I have worked with Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox on UI/UX design for first party console content. MOTION GRAPHICS ARTIST & COMPOSITOR I have 20 years experience in motion graphics, and have worked on everything from animated explainer videos to commercials. I have recently worked with BLINK PRODUCTIONS on content for ADIDAS, MENTOS and NETFLIX (2021). PRODUCER / EDITOR - Branded Content At MESHES my responsibilities were wide ranging - from all aspects of production planning and management, to filming on set in various roles (Director, 1st AD, DOP). I also worked on the creative side of production, from concept development to editing and final colour grade. I’ve filmed and edited content on a large number of projects, including events in Las Vegas, Monaco and London. I’ve also shot and produced short story drama content for a mobile app called UNRD.co . CLIENTS I have a wide range of industry experience including; advertising, automotive, fashion, gaming and TV. I've worked with clients such as; Netflix, Adidas, Mentos, Honda, Hyundai, Bella Italia, BP, BBC, and on award-winning video games.
