Projects
  • Well & Truly
Well & TrulyA campaign, packaging redesign and brand refresh for the healthy snack Well & Truly, which aims to visualise the “naughty-ish” spirit associated with the brand.
  • Difficult Is Worth Doing
Difficult Is Worth DoingA custom designed lazer etched skateboard deck, the typography was inspired by the movement of skateboards.
  • Unruled
UnruledA premium notebook and brand, Unruled, which subverts the standard format by introducing new line compositions on each page. I wanted to create something that challenges the user to explore new ways of writing and drawing which will inspire new thoughts. All the page designs within the product are taken from natural line forms within nature.
  • The Guardian
The GuardianReading The Riots A campaign to promote the Guardian’s series on the London and British riots. I used a literal interpretation of the “Broken Britain” metaphor which had come to define the events to generate an arresting visual that could be used across all the paper’s promotions on the series. We worked with Jonathan Knowles to shoot cut glass with a rifle and a timed camera to create the desired effect.
  • Good and Bad News
Good and Bad NewsA project which explores and highlights the alarming distribution of negative and positive stories within the UK’s national press. The series examines this tone within Newspapers, and then on their websites. The work is exhibited on a series of newsprint posters as objective data visualisation.
  • Good Energy
Good EnergyA rebranding project for Good Energy, the UK's leading 100% clean energy provider. We aimed to create a flexible visual identity system which felt contemporary and sophisticated but unique within the energy market. The visual language involves our yellow symbol, which represents the Sun, in everything we do. The new identity aimed to be clear and confident and directly expresses Good Energy’s matter-of-fact, pragmatic tone, with a look and feel that maintains their charm and personality.
