About me
I am a entrepreneurial digital media specialist and journalist.
I am currently the Editor-in-chief and co-founder of In At The Side Media ltd and have been for close to three years now.
In At The Side is a grassroots Rugby Union multi-media platform, providing coverage for this area of rugby in the UK. My role included ensuring online content was delivered in an interesting, accurate and engaging way for our significant monthly readership, which included international players and opinion leaders. I managed our large network of contributors,
I controlled the output of Video content onto the site including Video reports, as well as scripted and voiced highlights packages of matches.
I was heavily involved with a successful round of seed funding investment, and with commercial elements.
As co-founder of the company, I am a self-starter with experience of managing teams particularly during live events. I was also heavily involved in the monetization of the site through avenues such as advertising and branded content. In essence, I had to develop a broad understanding of all the elements that go into the construction of a successful digital media company.
