I am an experienced graphic designer offering a broad skill-set across digital and print acquired over 10 years working full time and freelance in media, apparel and music for both established companies and small business clients. Initially working remotely for existing contacts in Australia, I have since developed a varied client list in the UK across a broad range of industries and projects. My desire to continually expand my technical abilities has been invaluable in my work.
I started out as a menswear Design Assistant at forward-thinking, global surf lifestyle clothing brand Insight, gaining ground up experience of the apparel design industry. After my first year I worked freely between the PR/Marketing and Design departments thanks to my experience in media and events. This mobility within the company gave me a great perspective on departmental cooperation and timeline-management. After three and a half years and with several best-selling global designs under my belt, I made an exit from the surf fashion industry (and Australia entirely) to pursue my interests abroad.
PGM (now Seventh Street Media) is a Sydney-based creative and marketing agency boasting grassroots music and events periodicals at its core. It was here I first learnt to interpret creative direction across the full spectrum of print & digital media, designing artwork for campaigns such as Heineken & events such as music festival Splendour In The Grass.
