With a background in stage performance and extensive experience in directing, editing, and screenwriting, Michael has become an all-rounded filmmaker with a unique voice who specialises in using creative visual representations to encapsulate mood and feelings. Recently, he has moved to London, where he continues to find captivating stories to tell. Since arriving in this dynamic city, Michael has been blessed with opportunities to collaborate with a variety of arts and cultural organisations, such as Goldsmiths CCA, Ghost and John, and Little Bean Theatre.

  Performance Highlights: Boh Boh Finds HomeWorked as the video director for the outdoor performance 'Boh Boh Finds Home', by the Little Bean Theatre. It was an interactive drama that allows families to spend a magical weekend with lovely music and magic tricks.
• Performance Highlights: There Are Gods Around Us'There Are Gods Around Us' is a durational performance and installation. Telling stories about the imaginary gods and performing a made-up ritualistic dance, we look at how these acts transform our mental and physical states. Taking reference from East Asian mythology, traditions and rituals, it is a queer and Asian work that looks into what hope means in our age of great instability and crisis.
