Skimming the lines between work and play, I develop brands, create campaigns, design websites and journey wherever the brief takes me. I love to work within a range of mediums to create thoughtful projects.
Projects
  • The Search
    The SearchA creative Christmas campaign that reached over 5,000 people Every year St George’s Church hosts several festive services which aim to reveal the Christmas story in a fresh, thematic way. Last year, working as part of a team I was involved in creating the celestial campaign known as ‘The Search’. The narrative of The Search drew upon a set of messages to cater for multiple audiences and services throughout the season. Promotion of the campaign was distributed through a range of online and offline mediums.
  • Aberdeen Community Safety Partnership
    Aberdeen Community Safety PartnershipReframing a corporate union into a friendlier alternative  Aberdeen Community Safety Partnership were looking to add some vigour to their communications with a new brand identity. The partnership looks at tackling crime and disorder having recently launched a new hub for multi-agency coordination and hot desks to provide a forum for the city community. 
  • The Big Banchory Theory
    The Big Banchory TheoryUsing creativity to help raise a £17k fundraising target and transform a tired science department into a space that inspires The Big Banchory Theory is a new initiative taken by Banchory Academy that tests the hypothesis that an improvement to a student’s surroundings will lead to an increased desire to learn. 
  • Grampian Fire & Rescue Service
    Grampian Fire & Rescue ServiceProvoking fire-awareness and humour through a regional campaign and a little curmudgeon called Fletcher Due to an increase in wilful fire-raising, the Grampian Fire & Rescue Service was looking for a way to reach out to youngsters while giving talks in schools. As a class we were tasked with pitching a triad of banners that could be used in a variety of situations. 
  • Westhill Community Church
    Westhill Community ChurchCreating a brand 'family' that houses 14 sub-brands under one roof, in a project that included everything from web design to puppet making Westhill Community Church had recently moved into their new building when I was initially tasked with creating a new website for the organisation. However it quickly became apparent that there was a much greater opportunity presenting itself with this move and so the scope of the project broadened out to almost a holistic renewal of the church.
  • Yorkshire Ministry Course
    Yorkshire Ministry CourseExpressing the rhythm of a unique prospectus I was approached by Yorkshire Ministry Course to create their 2016 prospectus. Although the organisation had the rudiments of a brand, it needed refining and so the process was an ongoing discussion to draw out and express what made the course so unique.

This includes: - Researching/conceptualising campaigns and delivering print-ready designs and high quality videos. - Constantly generating weekly, monthly and termly content to engage audiences. - General admin duties and managing a large workflow as the communications guru for a staff team of 25+. - Having an awareness of key marketing opportunities and visual trends in advancing the St George’s brand.
