About me
Michael is the CEO and co-founder of Added Health, a human(AI) health concierge service that helps clients understand and take control of their health proactively; and directs people to appropriate medical treatment if required.
He has previously founded and successfully exited two digital health companies: Map of Medicine (a set of dynamic clinical algorithms acquired by Hearst Inc, 2008) and Doctor Care Anywhere (a telemedicine platform that Michael exited on IPO in 2020 having handed over executive management in the preceding years to focus on his growing family).
Michael earned a D Phil (PhD) in Physiological Sciences (Immunology) from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and lectured in Medicine at the University before becoming a healthcare entrepreneur.
He is happily married with two young sons and enjoys connecting with people.
His favourite word is Ubuntu - "I am because you are i.e., we are all connected!"
