About me

I am an Events Manager with experience in planning and delivering exciting ideas from concept to production. These range from exhibitions and seminars, festivals and creative product launches to charitable and social events and celebration days, not forgetting to mention being part of the award winning Events and Marketing team that delivered Europe’s biggest ever electrical Live Broadcast event. I love the fast-paced, highly pressurised day to day tasks, managing projects simultaneously. I have a keen attention to detail with a creative flair and a real energy for this profession with a proven history of time management. I am able to work on my own initiative and evaluate situations rationally when it comes to making management decisions. I have good social and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to interact positively with many diverse individuals at all levels.

With regular updates to the wiring regulations, brings a responsibility to educate members on the changes. I am responsible for the full project management of various sized events both face to face and digital to ensure our members are kept up to date as well as to support the wider marketing strategy, marketing to potential new NICEIC and ELECSA members too. Jan 2020 - Present • Diversified the planned series of face-to-face events and delivered 27 webinars • Reached over 10,000 members and issued almost 40,000 CPD certificates • Direct line manager to Event Executive • Working to a slashed budget (due to Covid-19) • Full project management of external virtual exhibition(s) • Full management of digital marketing and web maintenance of event series • Development of podcast channel (not yet live) • Development of YouTube content (not yet live) Sept 2017 – Dec 2020, Events and Marketing Executive • Project management of all roadshow exhibition (28 in 2018) events.
