I was responsible for the whole process of parties at this club from enquiries and bookings to the management and coordination of them. I managed a team of eight staff members to run the events (including reviewing their progress and training them) , and liaised and coordinated all other departments involved such as the Food and Beverage and Studio teams. I used my creativity to design the party themes and set up of the rooms, with the aim on being as environmentally friendly as possible. Other duties included budgeting, proposing future ideas for expanding our party service, and forging relationships with local suppliers.

Head of Operations and CommsThe Plattery
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
I worked to support this edible art catering start up by assisting with diary, social media and admin management for the founder. I helped her secure new clients and my marketing strategy on Instagram forged relationships with companies like Facebook, where we catered several events and also London Fashion Week. Out of the Plattery grew ‘Vital Meals’, a charity delivering free and home cooked, nutritious meals to needy and vulnerable people all across the city. I managed a team of 20 volunteer drivers go deliver around 200 meals at the beginning of each week, making sure to we were adhering to strict health and safety policies and specific dietary requirements. I communicated with Mutual Aid initiatives, local councils and charities and the NHS to reach those most in need around us. I created a streamline approach to manage all requests, developing an Excel system with shared diaries for staff and a website specifically with information on referrals and our fundraising initiatives. I enjoyed coming up with creative fundraising ideas with the Founders but also having the chance to get stuck in with cooking and delivering for myself. Meeting our recipients was incredibly important to us.
