orn and raised in Nicosia(Cyprus), graduated from the Audio Visual Arts Department of the Ionian University(Greece), where i adopted the aesthetics of digital arts and learned about the technologies that produce interactive media. I experimented with several projects trying to achieve something new and innovative, while learning the art of motion graphics and visual effects.
During my studies, i started working as a freelancer in the fields of video production, graphics and web design, when i had the chance to cooperate with several performers using the media of video mapping.
My thesis was a multi-project, a combination of Virtual and Augmented reality. I created a 3D installation based on Wassily Kandinsky’s paintings, where the viewer was able to “enter”, using the media of Virtual reality. The part of the Augmented reality in the project was to introduce the artist to the viewer through an interview.
As a motion designer and visual effect artist, i create projects for video art purposes and TV commercialism. My passion to learn the art of visual effects led me to create personal projects, mainly in the context of dreamy landscapes and childish memories.
