- Life of Pi Cover Illustration (Student Project)Student Project 2014 APPLIED ARTS STUDENT AWARDS CONTEST WINNER Redesigning the book cover of the novel Life of Pi by Yann Martel, I tried to create a dynamic image that captured the harrowing journey of the protagonist. By surrounding the boy in the image of a menacing tiger whose stripes turn into the waves of the ocean, I showed the central struggles of the protagonist as well as giving hint to the novel’s overreaching “circle-of-life” theme.
- BC Hydro IllustrationsAt TAXI I had the fun job of illustrating vector style people for BC Hydro’s rebrand. My task was to create an illustration style of people that is modern and approachable, yet serious enough to convey important safety instructions. I was able to achieve this by creating simple illustrations, that were symmetrical and made up of geometric shapes and flat colour. People’s expressions range from being happy to neutral, to a state of shock and pain, (such as in an electrical safety situation). We
- Kit and Ace Navigator CampaignKit and Ace Navigator Campaign We were tasked with creating a visual campaign for Kit and Ace’s Navigator trousers – a technical trouser created to handle whatever your day holds whether it be the commute, the office or everything else in between. We decided to display the pants as if they were a technical diagram highlighting its various features and functions. Contrasting the rider and trousers against a wall which matched the colour of the bike, we ensured that the trousers stood out and too

- SKYE FootwearAt Ballentine Media, I had the pleasure of art directing a technical product video shoot for SKYE Footwear’s ELEMENTAL line, which highlighted the shoes capabilities to combat water and rainy weather. Even though we had a very small budget I wanted to create a high impact technical video, which definitely put my creativity and resourcefulness to the test. Using DIY techniques, I pulled together make shift rigs including a lazy Susan, a large silicon sealed picture frame, hydrophobic spray, sten
- Lululemon Mindfulosophy KitLululemon Mindfulosophy Kit At Lululemon, I was brought into the initial branding stages of their internal self-development program called Mindfulosophy. I was given the job of building out a family of 4 unique patterns that could be used as an application throughout the programs collateral. This resulted in the creation of 4 distinct sleek and modern geometric patterns. I created a meditative pattern through the use of repeated shapes, and reinforced the program’s central theme of mindfulness

I was brought into Vancouver’s HQ to lead the design for Lululemon’s men & women’s global pants campaign. With a small team I created the concept for the campaign’s platform and began developing a visual language for the Science of Feel—an integral component to Lululemon’s pants.
