- Bucharest, RomaniaFull Time
Intro is a design showroom in the downtown of Bucharest, importing furniture and accessories from big names in Europe such as Vitra, Magis, USM, Swedese, Normann Copenhagen, Gubi, Muuto, Hay, Asplund, Tom Dixon and the list goes on.
I started working with Intro in my last year at the University, creating showroom displays monthly in line with the firms' strategy, managing the relationship with the suppliers, attending events/trade fairs and researching for potentials to attend and creating relationships with artists and designers, assisting in orders placed for products and communicating with suppliers and team, assisting with administration tasks, researching, creating, preparing and presenting design concepts.
I acquired, developed and improved many skills such: as the ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time, sales skills (selling in a buyer-responsive manner, using psychology to engage the buyer and telling really compelling design stories, ABH), strong telephone manner, knowledge of current colour and textural trends.
