  The Sunday Times Culture: Cover DesignMy role of art directing cover artwork for The Sunday Times Culture requires a great deal of collaboration between photographers, illustrators and other designers. We've had some brilliant results over the years from a photoshoot of the cartoon band Gorillaz to one of my favourite illustrators creating a design for a cover on 100 Short Stories to Love. When we aren't working with another creative, I will use my own illustration or photo montages to bring the cover to life.

  The Sunday Times Culture: Layout Design (2017- Present)One of my key responsibilities at The Sunday Times is to art direct and design feature spreads and articles for Culture. Below are a few I have worked on since the magazine's redesign in 2017. As Culture is a fairly image-led title, I often create bespoke artworks to tie a page together.

  The Sunday Times Culture: 100 Podcasts to LoveI designed the cover and layout design for Culture's 100 Podcasts feature in 2019. The magazine has a few of these listed articles throughout the year, and every time I like to try something different. I illustrated both the cover and interior spreads and used a bold colour scheme which tied it all together.
• A Guide to Star Wars - The Sunday Times (2015)With the release of the first Star Wars movie in over decade upon us, I art directed and managed a team of designers, writers, illustrators and production staff to create The Sunday Times Guide to Star Wars. An unofficial look at the galaxy far, far away that featured interactive graphics and animations and was accompanied by a huge pull out timeline poster in the newspaper.

  The Sunday Times Culture: Marvel in HollywoodA feature about Marvel's dominance in cinema. I art directed the cover, an illustration created by Sunday Times graphics, and designed the inside spread and artwork.
