About me
My names Mike and I’m a designer from New Zealand. I have just recently moved here to London and I’m in the process of looking for possible job opportunities. Since graduating in 2011 from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Design, I have been working for 5+ years across various fast paced, high pressure design and event outlets in both New Zealand and the United States. I have a strong passion for design, the power behind brands and the importance of ‘creating experiences’ and is something I seek in a job and wish to continue to build a career around.
I genuinely love what I do and come with a passion for this to back up the skills and experience I have acquired from my different creative backgrounds. I am fast, organised and precise, listen and consider myself an all-round multi-tasking team player; with experience taking projects from concept through to delivery. With a passion for art and design I pride myself on having a good knowledge of innovative and ground-breaking design looking beyond the next big thing all the while protecting companies core values. I made the move to London to locate myself in a new and creative environment and to have access to a larger scope of opportunities and challenges. I’m hungry to build on my skill-set and experience that I took away from my previous job at Rollercoaster and to pursue with a new venture bridgng my passion for branding and events. Somewhere that encourages innovation, design and out-of-the box thinking which I believe result in some of the most memorable ‘experiences'.
