About me

Throughout my employment history and education I have gained experience of design in a wide variety of areas including interior design, product design, graphics, textiles, fine art and photography. I have studied Interior Design and Decoration and have personally undertaken a series of design jobs for commercial businesses and community buildings. For the last 8 years I have run a creative small business selling through the retailer Notonthehighstreet.com alongside others which has developed both my design and managerial skills. This role has included product development, overseeing a team of employees and apprentices, strategising and trend forecasting, customer service, and communicating with stockists and suppliers. In previous roles I have coordinated a large selection of projects and developed a range of community programmes for vulnerable women including esol, parenting classes, ICT for beginners, a community cafe, and a range of creative classes and social enterprises. This included reporting to funders and meeting set targets.

• Website & Social Media for CharityIn my spare time I manage a website and instagram page for an East London Church. This involves designing graphics, templates, curating photography and type.
• Little Pieces - Product DesignSince 2010 I have run my own business selling products online. Products include prints, soft furnishings, stationery, crockery and a range of interior decorations.

  Portraits D’interieurs -The Ragged School MuseumThis project based in The Ragged School Museum in Bow explored the public and privates faces of individuals. The concept was to create layered spaces for the client in this building with a vast and detailed history.
