Miriam Balanescu is a Film, TV and Books Journalist, Writer and Illustrator living in London.
She is an experimental writer, interested in the borders between poetry, prose and music. Her play 'Three Parts to Sing' was performed at the Downing Festival of New Writing in 2018. She was longlisted in the Christopher Tower Poetry Competition in 2014 and her stories have been published in Footnotes (alongside Sarah Howe and Simon Armitage), The Airgonaut, The Dial and Polyglossia.
Currently, Miriam is working on a radio play and a collection of short stories.
