I have been working in television for nearly 11 years, working on some of the biggest entertainment and factual entertainment programmes on terrestrial television. Five years ago I made the decision to also focus on development and have been lucky enough to work at some of the most successful indies in the country including Endemol, Objective Productions, Maverick Television, The Garden and most recently TwoFour Broadcast before starting at 7Wonder. I have recently also moved into branded content and in truth see my self as a creative, brimming with ideas for all media platforms. I am keen to bring my skills in TV to digital. Due to working at large indies, I have a pretty broad slate of successful commissions with series ranging from a factual psychology series for ITV1 to a constructed reality series for Channel 4. I like to be an all-rounder and bring my production experience into the projects I develop so I will always take the opportunity to produce the series I have developed if I can. I also took a year out of TV to focus on online production as I wanted to learn about it more, I produced all the film for a luxury fashion website called fashionair.com. Most recently I have been working at 7Wonder productions as Head of Development as well as Head of Branded Content & Youth securing a successful global brand campaign with Bacardi and produced a live broadcast for Nike as well as interest in a new music series for Channel 4. I would love the opportunity to work in digital media as I feel that I could bring my established TV skills to an exiting venture and also have the ability to work beyond the parameters of traditional broadcasting. Whilst I do have all round production experience over the years I have focused on youth TV which is where I would like to continue. I want to be involved with cutting-edge, innovative and talked about content and work with leading directors to make beautiful films. I am passionate about fashion, art, food and popular culture and would love to make more in this genre.
Heading up all branded content and youth programming for 7wonder productions. Aim is to work with leading brands to bring TV quality content across all platforms. Also developing ideas specifically for the 16-34 demographic for terrestrial television. Currently working with a leading brand on a new doc-reality series focusing on young musicians for the brand’s global campaign. Also tasked with discovering new talent in all genres.
Senior development producer at Two Four Broadcast who recently won ‘Indie of the year 2014’ at the Broadcast Awards. Required to develop ideas for all genres, write proposals, edit-produce taster tapes and find new talent. Developed new series for E4 about young British people living in New York. Developed the series and post commission have headed up the casting for the series before moving on to story producing.
Producer on start-up fashion and entertainment website. Was responsible for producing all video content for the site as well as overseeing edit. Was responsible for developing new format ideas as well as producing and directing shoots with high profile people in the fashion industry. Produced VT packages for events such as the British Fashion Awards and Christian Louboutin. Also in charge of booking and shooting all music content and have developed great relationships with record labels and music PR companies.
