As Communications Intern it was my role to assist communication with all key stakeholders through both online and offline channels as well as managing events. Use of relational database management system to manage stakeholders Updated website content Managing the production of marketing materials has equipped me with knowledge of the processes involved including the use of Adobe Creative Suite and liaising with professional printers. Familiarity updating the website through back-end administration platform. Drafted copy for a weekly HTML email which gets delivered to over 2000 subscribers. This involved researching relevant regional educational news. This process further requires strong communication skills alongside the ability to proofread. Use of online CRM system.

  • Market Research of student satisfaction with the University. This involved data collection, professional report writing and verbal presentation skills. Collected and imputed qualitative and quantative feedback from students of History, Classics and Archaeology onto a database. Using SPSS compiled and analysed the data. Using visual and verbal communication presented individual feedback for each module and for each individual course in professional reports which were then distributed amongst staff in the school. Verbally discussed finding at board meetings with senior management and advised on how findings may impact on teaching in the next year. Advised on how collecting feedback may be improved and redesigned. Strengthened my IT skills in key applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
