About me
I’m an enthusiastic, passionate graphic designer whose always open to new opportunities and chances to learn and develop my skills. I strongly believe that you should do what you love in life in order to create something incredible. If you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life. My philosophy is to bring the best version of myself to everything I commit to and I look to enhance peoples experiences whether that be from a customer service perspective or by just bringing a bit of positivity to the everyday.

I currently work as a graphic artworker for a large print company that specialises in bespoke signage and branded PPE. I work with a variety of different clients from different backgrounds and industries and follow and use their brand guidelines. My main role focuses on communication with coworkers and clients as well as preparing large format printing and clothing for production. I love being hands on and creatively problem solving whilst managing and juggling a heavy workload.

This incredible opportunity allowed me to be in charge of a group of 14 15-17 year olds for four and teach them about the ways of the world and provide them with job hunting skills, team building exercises and a journey they can remember for the rest of their lives. This job was make up of thee parts, the first was residential, similar to my Pgl role I got to experience the young adults throw themselves into new challenges and embrace new opportunities. The second phases focussed on living away from home in uni accommodation - cooking for yourself and looking into the world ahead of them and finally the third week was about making a difference in the community, I worked with the young adults on a volunteering campaign for a local group and watched as their eyes opened to the goodness people have to offer. This rewarding experience was short but helped me grow in compassion and understanding.

BA (Hons) Digital ArtUniversity of Kent
     - Canterbury, United Kingdom
Throughout my degree I got to experience a wide range of digital practises relevant to my chosen field of work. I was lucky enough to get to experiment with everything from film making and editing to graphic design to cgi and animation. I particularly enjoyed how varied this course was, one day you could find me storyboarding and planning an exhibition for project mapping and the next I’d be creating a website and devolving a mobile application. I feel like this course has equipped me with everything a young digital artist should have. My toolkit enables me to help out with a range of different tasks any business may have and enables me to help with both back and front end development and design. I’m proud in the fact that I can pick up a project and solely design and develop it myself should the need arise. I received a 2:1 at this level.

During my level 3 extended diploma in broadcast media I got to experiment with my love for film radio and tv broadcasting. I experienced running my own radio show, creating my own films which where showcased in front of over 100 people and learning about TV sets and the production of tv shows. I got to create my own website and magazine which helped me discover my love and passion for graphic design. It was the first time I felt as though I was on track and genuinely felt passionate about what I could do in the future. I even got to attend a media conference at Disneyland parks and meet some of Sky’s finest at their studios to talk about the potential within the industry. I received D*D*D at this level.
