About me
I'm a 22-year-old student currently based in Leeds, studying BA Photography at Leeds Arts University, in my final year. My work ranges between both film and digital and I often create quite personal documentary projects, exploring the idea of using photography as a sort of therapy. I pay a lot of attention to lighting and shadows in my images and tend to use natural lighting to my advantage.
Projects
- Beginning of SpringBeginning of Spring is a moving image body of work that I created at the start of lockdown 2020. This project is an appreciation for the environment around me as at the time it was all I really had, due to the pandemic. It is a documentation of all the things that occur when spring comes around and a closer look at the wildlife and nature that reveals itself throughout this time.
- A Moment in Time' A Moment in Time ' is a documentary photography project that explores environments from a personal or emotional perspective, in relation to grief. It looks at the sentimental links between people and places and the potential an environment has to provoke nostalgia and specific moments of recall. The project stemmed from the loss of a close friend, who passed away at the beginning of last year and I wanted to use my photography as a sort of therapy and a way to deal with the overwhelming feelin
