As a huge theatre lover, I was always keen to find a role in the industry somehow. In November 2016, I applied for a trainee role in the Marketing Department at Chichester Festival Theatre and was offered a six month contract. During this time, I worked closely with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Marketing Officer, Audience Insight Manager and Head of Press.
After three months, I was offered a permanent contract which I accepted. My role as the Communications Assistant includes daily tasks such as press cuttings, running various social media accounts, communications with customers via email and social media, ensuring that the Front Of House is stocked up with appropriate marketing material and running the theatre's 16-25 ticket scheme, Prologue.
Kitchen Manager

During my time at Rhubarb Food, I worked as the Kitchen Manager for many of Goodwood's large events including various race days and The Goodwood Revival. My duties included hiring external chefs, managing their accommodation, making sure they were sent to the right kitchens on the event site and daily checks of the staff and their kitchens.
