About me

As a fine art photographer my practice involves exploring topics such as nostalgia and the female form. My practice involves in-depth visual and conceptual research to ensure that the context behind my images is relevant to current day culture. In my projects I want to bring awareness to problems that my models and myself may be experiencing in the current culture. Having influences from con- temporary and renaissance art my practice is on trend with the current movements in society like the female gaze. In my current project the way that I have approached it by exploring my own body positivity, gave my models the confidence in my final outcomes. All the models in my current project volunteered themselves after seeing my work showing that I gave them the safe environment to ex- plore their bodies and feel empowered. Having a honest representation of myself and experienc- es in my life drives my work which makes my practice relatable to others. As I develop as a person my work will change with me therefor becoming more defined and my audience will grow with me.

  The life I never knewThis project is focused around nostalgia and the childhood that I can't remember. Using images of my family I created these collages to explore my mum's and dad's relationship before the divorce. Which is a time of my life that I don't remember and never knew.

  The Human FormThis project is exploring how different each body is and how identity is still strong within the models even when they're stripped down to basics.

Being a gallery invigilator I would ensure that the art was untouched and kept in good condition. My duties included : working events, greeting guests and upkeep of the gallery whilst on shift. I also competed an art handling workshop so I have the skills to install and take art down in a safe way.
