About me
Creative and passionate surface pattern designer for fashion textiles; working abstract and digitally are my strengths. Inspired by my surroundings, I use observation to inform my designs. Having a fine art background provides me with a indepth perspective and a wide knowledge of multi-disciplinary techniques. My design style is expressive, gestural, intuitive and highly creative. I am able to create designs independently, whilst also working to specification where needed, within a commercial setting. I am a good communicator and a able researcher. Using primary and secondary sources as a vital process of development. Able to work efficiently in a team and individually. I am enthusiastic about working within industry and evolving as a designer.

For a month in June I was very lucky to do a an internship with the successful supplier Misfit, they design prints for New Look, Topshop and Nobody's Child. I have learnt numerous digital skills and commercially developed my understanding.
