Work history
Accessibility and Inclusion Department RepGoldsmiths, University of London
London, United KingdomPart Time
As an Accessibility and Inclusions Rep, I represented the student body within the Art Department who identify as disabled. The role meant I acted as the voice for students who have physical disabilities, learning difficulties such as dyslexia or mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. I presented their feedback and experiences to the Senior Tutors within the Art Department and the Students Union in regular meetings.
This role gave me great experience in:
- Gathering feedback (I would do so on at least a termly basis)
- Consolidating feedback and creating reports suitable for Senior Management
- Working in teams of people I would not usually work with e.g. tutors from other courses, students completing their MAs and the university management team

P.A.S.T.E (Political Activism Striving Towards Excellence) is an art activist group which I formed with fellow students from Goldsmiths. We worked together on zines, workshops and exhibitions covering a range of political and social issues.
Our zines have been stocked by Grrrl Zine Fairs at Nottingham Contemporary and The Other Art Fair ran by Saatchi.
We’ve also held exhibitions at Goldsmiths University and Hundred Years Gallery in Hoxton. As part of our ‘Political Truths’ exhibition at Hundred Years Gallery, I led a workshop on performance art and comedy writing.
I also curated and designed a zine on behalf of P.A.S.T.E called ‘Hallo(Q)weens’ which I created for a limited Halloween release and celebrated the relationship of women and queer folks relationship with costume and nightlife. To launch my zine, we held a Halloween party at the New Cross Inn in collaboration with queer collective Bury Your Gays.
