My name is Monika and I am passionated make up artist and costume designer.
My professional adventure has begun several years ago at The Opera House and Philharmonic Hall of Podlasie. I have learnt there the theatrical make-up, special effects, wig dressing,etc as well as how to work under time pressure which I find very useful in my job. In the meantime I was studying Fine Arts at Warsaw School of Arts which I graduated in Costume and Prop Stage Design. I was collaborating with all sorts of theatrical projects, commercials and photo shoots.
I am fascinated by giving new life to old things, creating something new out of old, forgotten materials. Maybe that is why i often like to use randomly found subjects and use them to make costumes or headpieces. It doesn’t matter if it is leather jacket, flower pot or old film tape, only your creativity is the limit.
