About me
I’m interested in history, culture, archives, art and music. I research current affairs, literature, diasporic stories and local politics. I write topical pieces about my social observation. I’m very interested in social cohesion and how colonial history has affected our contemporary global climate. Future interests include curating, producing and being involved in documenting and telling diverse narratives. I enjoy making music, watching animation, sewing. I go to exhibitions, gigs, talks, events. I find comfort the ritual of sitting by lamp light and reading.

SAVE The Feminist LibraryThe feminist library has been integral to my process with ROADFEMME. With the largest collection of Women's Liberation Movement literature in th UK. They have been supporting research, activist and community projects since 1975. Solely ran by Volunteers, they provide an inspiring space for learning and a social space for hundreds, if not thousands of people. I help with general admin, help staff around the library during opening hours. I help with online cataloguing and research on new publications. I am also researching feminist groups and organisations to connect with and helping out with the stall, at events the library run.

My work mainly covers researching specific trends in global media for show ideas. I also research ideas and content for my own short format television ideas, a few of which have been pitched. I work closely with a developer and the head of production. It’s been an interesting opportunity to develop my research process, techniques, communication and learning about themes in British popular culture for fresh, new age content.

BA World PhilosophiesSOAS, University of London
     - London, United Kingdom
I am a recent graduate from SOAS. I studied World Philosophies and Linguistics. My degree was helpful in grasping a conceptual outlook, which greatly influenced my creative boundaries and flow. I have studied and researched a broad range of religious traditions and philosophical thought. I took open modules in History, Literature, Cinema and Radio. Studying a myriad of religions in such a multicultural university such as SOAS, has given extensive access to academic expertise, archives and a cosmopolitan, spirited student experience in London. I took part in the SOAS student radio and newspaper, the Workers Liberty Society and the Women’s society, taking a keen interest in my universities political activism and campaigns. I was also Working Class Students Officer for my Student Union.
