Southbank Centre is a world-famous, multi-venue arts centre in London, with a dynamic year-round festivals programmer and an inclusive ethos. I work as an youth ambassador for Southbank Centre to influence the festival programming to encourage and engage young people to the site.
• Providing a platform for art, theatre, dance, classical and contemporary music, literature and debate.
• Research and identify relevant communication channels to target young people for events or projects.
• Devise publicity material and package events for various target markets.
• Good knowledge of cultural and social issues around the world; so events stimulate, inspire and educate.
Event Coordinator

I deliver over 30 events and exhibition throughout the year for high profile stakeholders.
• Scheduling: Management of events and personal diaries, pre-bookings and allocating events spaces to clients. Management of Resource Scheduler online room booking system, point of contact for all employees.
• Logistics: Manage client’s requirements; travel, catering, production set up and security operations.
• Internal Compliance: Ensure all staff and events follow H&S protocol, council policies and building regulations. Manage the risk register for corporate facilities and sign off all risk assessments.
• Customer Service: Conduct site visits with clients. Provide good hospitality to stakeholders and residents throughout the operations of events. Negotiate schedule changes and resolve day-to-day issues in pressured environment.
• Evaluation: Verbal feedback and written reports to building manager.
• Finance: Manage accounts data entry, invoices, and recharge clients.
