I'm Nadine Schindler and I am seeking to further develop my skill base in the fashion industry. I pride myself with great international experience in different fields of the industry, which helped me to gain a better understanding and become more confident within myself and my work. My BA studies in Fashion Design allowed me to expand my creative side by developing a 24 piece digital collection. I continued my studies by doing my Masters in Fashion Merchandise Management, where I was introduced to buying, visual merchandising and retail analysis. My studies have helped me to prioritise and structure my workload, I pride myself with being organised and paying attention to detail. My first experience in buying strengthened my skill base and gave me a greater insight into the fashion industry. My flexibility and interest in international placements brought me to Hong Kong, where I helped out the design team on their S/S ‘18 Collection. Working close with the brand suppliers embraced further my understanding of a different culture’s work ethic. I’ve also worked for an International Model Agency as a Business Developer, which allowed me to combine my fashion creativity and business understanding of the field by developing an innovative online magazine with the company. I would be involved in concept development for the editorials, managing and maintaining the relationship with exclusive fashion brands and analysing and presenting the magazine’s online performances. My thrive and motivation to further grow my career is what I desire and working with brands where I can use my skill set to achieve greatness together with a team and expand my knowledge.
