About me

Hello. My name is Naim. I am a London based photographer and visual artist. My photographic style is detail driven, mainly focusing on fluid shapes, dynamic lighting and architectonic lines. I primarily specialise in still life and product photography, having worked with brands such as Budweiser, Becks and Corona. I always try to push every project to its full potential, through creating various compositions and experimentation to deliver a strong compelling outcome. Outside of the studio you'll probably fine me building something from IKEA, listening to records and thinking of something else to finish off this triplet.

  Mental HealthEarly in 2019, I wrote a dissertation piece titled, "How does Commercial Photography Codify Mental Health?". It discusses the representation of mental health and the lack of representation of Black and POC models in image libraries. I've created a photo-series for it coupled by captions from Foucault's work, Madness and Civilization.
