An excellent opportunity which complimented my current interests in the British and International Jazz scene. Providing administrative assistance for the Communications department, I worked as part of a team as well as independently. This involved preparing prints and passes for shows, updating website content, collating reviews and press releases and organizing guest lists. I also maintained the Festival’s social media output at shows.
A front of house role welcoming families when they arrive, providing them with information about the gallery and its current exhibitions and helping them plan their visit. This role is also catered to offering creative support to younger children and their parents.
An undergraduate student magazine for which I have produced reviews, interviews and creative pieces. This has developed my skills of working with an online platform, meeting tight deadlines and having a sharp eye for detail.
Work shadowing in the Photographic Department where I assisted studio setups, handled photographic equipment, helped catalogue work and access photographic archives and gained knowledge of software such as Adobe Photoshop.
