Teaching groups of people, with a range of experience, how to knit various stitches and patterns. Working individually or with others to at knitting parties clearly communicating manageable instructions to a group. Correcting any mistakes made using hand knit knowledge.
Designing and making a range of handmade metal, leather and knitted accessories. Working alongside other artists to organise and coordinate the smooth running and publicising of the Open House. Quality control and time management was really important part of making for this.
Designed and made knitted textile samples for the purpose of an interior based brief. I created Photoshop visuals of my design on a sofa.
Designing, making and styling my own knitwear collection to fit a brief. I also worked alongside graphics students to design posters and the overall branding of the show.
My textile designs using 'Bridge of Weir' leather received a commendation as part of a 'creative design' competition run by The Skinners & Glovers of Glasgow.
