About me
I am a Mexican cultural producer, project manager and curator with a proven track record of quality projects in the fields of arts, culture and fashion. I have studies in Communication Sciences, Art Management, Cultural Promotion and Fashion Curation. Working in the curatorial and educational departments of several museums and organizations back in Mexico and London, I have experience conceptualizing, curating, producing and evaluating art and culture projects such as art festivals, workshops, poetry open-mics, gastronomy and literature events, and more. I love storytelling and I am passionate about exhibitions and their potential to create social change through the bonding between community and objects. I am the Co-founder and Director of Wearers Coterie, a new creative studio dedicated to curate and produce experiences about art, dress and fashion, and our first big project is Wearers Festival, the first multidisciplinary art festival dedicated to exploring the meanings of clothes and body adornment. I am also preparing my PhD proposal, a feminist exploration of the gender implications of curatorial work at museums and notions of femininity portrayed in fashion exhibitions.

Wearers Rocking their Disabled BodiesWhat is the first thing you think of when you get dressed in the morning? Do you think about the struggle of actually getting dressed or wearing an outfit that is both cute AND accessible? 18% of adults in the United Kingdom have a disability… that is 10 million people.
