About me
A textile designer, who specialises in woven textiles. I have a interest in all things weird and wonderful. I love exploring different techniques and materials to find innovative outcomes. Yarn is my passion. Creating and using them in new ways to make woven designs which I didn't know were possible. I would be interested in learning how to spin my own yarns, to help move my practice to a new level.
My work is driven by colour and texture. Finding new ways to use yarns to create different types of textural outcomes. Along side trying new was of finishing fabrics. Often felting, shrinking, adding embroidery, beading, or multi-media approaches.

- You Are More Impoarant than this!This Collection is about the pressure that women have to conform to society’s idea of the perfect body. We should be thinking more about being recognised for who we are and our accomplishments, rather than what we look like and whether we fit into society’s narrow constructs as to what is acceptable. It’s about embracing our bodies and who we are.
