About me

As an events professional with over 5 years’ experience, I am very passionate about working within the events sector. I enjoy meeting new people and working with clients and colleagues, forming a positive team relationship whilst achieving set goals. I am currently looking for a challenging and exciting role as my next step in my events career.

  • Event managing the annual two-day Voluntary Sector and Volunteering Research conference, drinks reception and dinner; sourcing venues, monitoring budgets, dealing with speakers, presenters and sponsors. Marketing events and blogs via the IVR and NCVO websites and social media platforms. Designing marketing collateral, liaising with the design team and external agencies. Coordinating and writing the Institute for Volunteering Research newsletter. Providing administrative support to the Research Team (12 individuals), including invoicing for consultancy work, budget monitoring, booking travel and proof-reading reports.
