I am an experienced journalist who has worked as a news editor for the MailOnline and the Daily Express. My words have appeared in all the UK’s national newspapers with travel features appearing in the Guardian, TNT Magazine and Express Newspapers. My own website chalkmarks.co.uk was named as Top 10 UK Travel Blogger for 2017. Here I have written about learning to burlesque in Czechia, surf in Norway and wander the medieval streets of Malta for which I was nominated for the Malta Tourism Award 2014.

I was approached by MailOnline to become the production editor for the night newsdesk. This involved leading a team of reporters building the Daily Mail newspaper in to online content against a tight deadline.
I produced eye-catching headlines for news stories, columnists and feature articles to high editorial standards.
I also supported the newsdesk, reading the newswires, responding to breaking news, updating and reselling stories while briefing reporters' on new lines and editing their copy.
My responsibilities also included editing the MailOnline's dedicated News Channel.
