Account management: • Worked on a number of varied accounts covering UK/global estate agents and property developers, investment, education and mobile banking which built on my experience across differing industries and progression within the role. • Responsible for the smooth running of accounts, solely managing the day-to-day activity, planning and buying campaigns as well as campaign reporting and billing. • Sourced new business and handled client contracts and forecasts. Research and planning: • Campaign planning involved understanding the client’s objectives, purchaser profile of the product and target audience. • Used research tools such as TGI, MMS & Business Elite Survey to ascertain which mix of media placements would be most effective and deliver the highest number of leads for the campaign. • Created PowerPoint documents and Excel media schedules to display the bespoke media strategy so the client could see media placements, dates and budget deployment – schedules required impeccable organisation and financial acumen. Buying and negotiation skills: • Developed strong relationships with media owners ensuring delivery of the best rates and to secure strategic ad positions against relevant content for all campaigns. • Negotiated free of charge advertising space and package deals worth thousands of pounds to encourage more business and a greater working relationship with clients. Reporting and analysis: • Prepared weekly and more in-depth monthly reports for all campaigns, with a particular focus on digital response given the wealth of data available compared to other channels. • Used reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Ads Manager to monitor the effectiveness of the campaign and make recommendations to clients on future activity. Collaboration across Four Communications’ departments: • Regularly worked with Public Affairs, PR, Search & Digital and Creative teams on successful cross-product campaigns to deliver insightful strategies. • Oversaw every aspect of client’s campaigns enabling more informative and knowledgeable regular status reports. New Business: • Worked on successful new business pitch documents for leading London property developers. • Acquired new business deals originating from client referrals for the work I had done.
